PERSONAL INFORMATION: Of the Timber Folk, she is an outrageous flirt, but is never serious about a relationship. She comes on strong, but turns to ice and acts shocked if any male encourages her. She loves to sit in the sun and weave. Duskdew is very independent and sometimes goes out of her way to prove it. She is afraid of deep water, and she never goes in where her feet don't touch bottom.

She and Quicksilver are the first attacked by strange trolls at the start of the Timber Valley war. Duskdew believes herself dead and wanders the valley in spirit form while the healers desperately try to recall her to her body. Unknown to her, she was observed by another elf in spirit form, Durran Shadowhand, as she interacted with her deceased parents (who were lost in the Death Flood). Later, when the war is over, Duskdew encounters the wandering elf, who uses deception and self-shaping magic to father a child with her. After she discovered what he had done, he deceived her again and erased her memory of him. Durran Shadowhand then left Timber Valley, with plans to return to claim the child at a later time. As of DF 39, he has not yet reappeared.
