PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Due to torture from humans, he cannot speak; they cut out his tongue. Because of this, he is very afraid of humans, though sight of them will not cause him to freeze. He's easygoing and happy most of the time. He is friendly and quick to smile, enjoys pranking and is a bit of a showoff. He is rash in an emergency. He respects life and loves plants, especially dreamberries.

OTHER INFORMATION: Hushleaf was the name given him by the Timber Folk. Preservers amuse him, as he'd never seen them before arriving in the valley in DF 13. He is very suspicious of trolls, as they helped to destroy his original tribe, the Rovers. The Rovers lived in wagon homes, so has built a shelter rather than live in a hometree. He also prefers daytime to night. He's honest and patient with others who can't understand him, but sometimes it's very frustrating to him (Rovers are fond of their own voices). He's also a very graceful dancer. He wears no jewelry, but has an affection for sparkly things.
