- Two Falls - The river from above splits around a rise in
the ground just before it spills over into the valley.
- Opening to the troll caverns, located above the lake
between the twin waterfalls.
- Village of the Ke L'rhatan humans.
- Rock Span - A rock-shaped archway across the river.
- Floor of the the valley, covered in soft grasses that
thrive in shadows, and a thick forest of trees. Once a part of the
Upper World, troll mining underground was too extensive and the entire
area collapsed straight down.
- The Black Cavern - Very mysterious, none have ever
returned who have gone inside. Not connected to the troll's cavern
system. Avoided by all animals, humans, trolls and elves.
- The Clearing - No trees or flowers will grow here, only
tough grass.
- The Bend - Swift currents in this area where the river
curves.
- The Sheercliff Rim - The edge of the valley where the
Upper World meets the sheer cliffs. Very unstable and often crumbly.
- 'Fox Perch - Shaped rock steps up the sheercliff to a
natural ledge. Clearfox often used this perch to watch over the
valley.
- Troll Caverns - The main entrance to the Underground
kingdom of the trolls.
- The Blue Lake - Fresh water lake fed by the waters of the
river above.
- The Holt - Location of the elves' hometrees, surrounded
by a protective thorn barrier.
- The Dreamberry Patch - The pride and joy of Foxvine,
keeper of the precious berries.
- The Upper World - The rest of the world outside of the
valley. The Sea of Grass extends several days' travel in all
directions.
- Sheercliff Pass - A naturally winding path across the
sheercliff walls that allow travel between the valley and the Upper
World.
- The Sheercliff Walls - Sheer, vertical walls that
completely surround the valley area.
- The Black Hole - A cavernous hole at the south end of the
valley where the river exits the forest and travels underground until
it reaches a sea far away.
