The Chronicles of Furmankind #2
LOST IN THE WILDERNESS

2011 Novel by Ted R. Blasingame

Deep within the painful transformations, the furman volunteers undergo training and education for their coming life's work. Public prejudices and psychological dangers present more of a threat than any of them realized, but the ultimate payoff may just make it all worth it all -- providing they can survive it all to get there.

The contents of this book were originally included within the pages of the massive Sunset of Furmankind novel as chapters 37-67. At over 333,000 words, SOF was three times the normal length of a standard novel, so it was split up into two books and Lost in the Wilderness was created from of those chapters.
