The contents of this book were originally included within the pages of the massive Sunset of Furmankind novel as chapters 37-67. At over 333,000 words, SoF was three times the normal length of a standard novel, so it was split up into two books and Lost in the Wilderness was created from those chapters.
This manuscript was revised with numerous corrections and additions in 2020.
